I color coded it to try and make it easier to read. I like seeing how I've improved, especially when I run the same race more than once. I love getting faster times and breaking personal records!

As you can see, 2009 was my big year for running and I had big plans for myself. I was running 2 races a month and wanted to train for a half marathon. Then I got pregnant with Jack. I used my pregnancy as an excuse to be lazy and I stopped running. In my defense, I did feel really sick and extremely tired during my first trimester. But even when I was feeling great during the second trimester, I didn't even go for walks. If there is a next time I definitely won't be making that same mistake again! I'm running now and trying to set a good example for Jack and that's what matters.

Have a great week!

Hi! I'm a new follower from your Just Jack blog. I'm curious, are you located in the DC area? I *used* to run, and am at a hiatus right now on the recommendation of an orthopedist I saw, but I want a 2nd opinion. I'm in the DC area (MD) and was just wondering if you were here too, based on the races you've run.

Thanks for the idea of posting race times. My last race was last Spring (a 5K) and I haven't run since then. As soon as I am cleared (if I can be cleared) for running again, I'd love to enter more races.
